These skates are well used but have a lot of life left in them. I just had them sharpened a week ago but have not been used since. The Pump does work very well and will snug up the skate in the heel quite a bit if needed, the release valve works like new also. Will work perfect for the beginner skater and will work just as good as the higher end skates. They have a lot of scuff marks and ware but the steel is in perfect shape.
